Designing for Performance
May 25, 2018 • 41 minutes
Customers often times want a fast system, and rightfully so. But what is fast anyway? How do you define it, and how do you measure it? “Performance” is a term that is quite subjective if not properly defined, and appropriately measured. When it comes to performance expectations what defines success? This week on the Virtually Speaking Podcast we welcome VMware performance expert Pete Koehler to discuss how he sees customers define and perceive success in a new deployment.
Pete Koehlor is a Sr technical Marketing Architect at VMware in the Storage and Availability Business Unit. He will be presenting various sessions on performance at VMworld this year so be sure to catch him there.
The Virtually Speaking Podcast is a weekly technical podcast dedicated to discussing VMware topics related to storage and availability. Each week Pete Flecha and John Nicholson bring in various subject matter experts from VMware and within the industry to discuss their respective areas of expertise.
